FLOCASE encourages its membership to take an active role in this process through education, email alerts, and position statements. FLOCASE wants to be a recognized leader in advocacy for special education policy in Florida. FLOCASE along with National CASE and National CEC have a long history of success in impacting the state and country's policy and legislation in the special education.

Florida CASE supports the Coalition for Exceptional Education Students (CEES). CEES is a coalition of parent and professional organizations that share a common concern for improving educational opportunities for exceptional students in the State of Florida. Florida CASE also participates in CEES sponsored activities including training sessions to provide information on the legislative process and the current issue of interest to Florida CASE member and others from around the state.
